The Martinsville Mustangs dropped to 0-4 on the season after the hot bats of the Forest City Owls put up 14 runs. Mustangs starter Patrick Ballew couldn't make it out of the second inning, and the Mustangs' defense allowed eight unearned runs on the way to a 14-1 defeat.
Matt Duffy, J.D. Davidson and Ryan LaPensee were the only Mustangs to reach base, with Duffy notching a two out single in the second inning and also reaching on a shortstop error in the eighth.
