Martinsville Wrestling Squad Win Tiger Invitational




The Martinsville Bulldog Wrestling squad competed in a 10 team tournament at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham Va called the Tiger Invitational. They claimed first place with a team score of 178.5. The Bulldogs had two champions in Antwon Hairston @ 160, Jeff Lawrence @ Hwt. and also four runner-ups in Daniel Dandridge @ 119, Devin Stockton @ 125, Darion Dunbar @ 152, and Steve Fuller @ 171. Marqualle Eggleston placed Third @189 and Ralph Price @ 103, Coy Grant @ 145, and Logan Harr @ 215, all placed Fourth. Antwon Hairston was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament.
"This was a great start to our season," said Head Coach Patrick Shuler. The Bulldogs will be at the Eden Holiday Classic this weekend in Eden N.C. where they hope to continue their success.
