Lady Cougars fall in AA, D-3 Semifinals with 61-35 loss to Millbrook.
[Mar. 10, 2010] In almost the blink of an eye, Patrick County found themselves trailing 20-0 Millbrook 19-4. Things never went northward for the Lady Cougars, as lady Pioneers connected on 69 percent of their shots (including 3-5 from 3 point land) in the opening stanza, and led 26-6 after the first quarter. From then on it was cruise control for Millbrook, as they rolled to a 61-35 victory and ended Patrick County's fun season in the AA, D-3 semifinals. [Mar. 7, 2010] Not even 2 green-white-checkered finishes could prevent Kurt Busch from capturing his first win of 2010 and his second straight in the spring Sprint Cup race in Atlanta. The Kobalt Tools 500 went 16 laps past the scheduled 325 circuits, due to two late cautions. The first occurred when Carl Edwards, down 151 laps, retaliated from an early race incident and spun 6th place running Brad Keselowski.
