Jerry Sloan Resigns After 23 Years
[Feb. 11, 2011] The longest tenured coach in professional sports, Jerry Sloan, announced his resignation yesterday. Just four days prior, he accepted a one year extension. Rumors are that Sloan and current player, Deron Williams, had a blow up behind closed doors and this sparked Sloan's decision. Regardless of the 'why', Sloan will be missed.
