This time, in the wake of Virginia Tech being left out of the NCAA Tournament for the 4th straight year, McFarling feels the Hokies have a point (Article: Roanoke.com). [Mar. 13, 2011] In the ACC Tournament quarterfinals and semifinals, North Carolina fell into early deficits only to rally against supposedly inferior teams. Sunday the Tar Heels fell behind 8-0 but their opponent was hardly inferior.
