Bulldogs split with PC[Apr. 9, 2008] For the first time since the program’s inception in 1999, the Lady Cougars defeated Martinsville. Even more impressively, they did it in convincing fashion, downing the Lady Bulldogs, 5-2. The Martinsville boys team outshot the Cougars, 18-4, controlling the ball with precision passing for most of the game ending with a 2-0 victory.
Super Mario: Kansas stuns Memphis in OT for title[Apr. 8, 2008] Mario Chalmers hit the tying three-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation and Kansas rallied from a nine-point deficit late in the second half to beat Memphis, 75-68, in overtime to win the national championship.
