ESPN to Broadcast PHCC Patriot Basketball
|
MARTINSVILLE, VA- Patrick Henry Community College has just signed a one year radio deal with ESPN Radio 1160 AM WODY in Martinsville, Virginia. The deal that was announced yesterday will include coverage of all Patriot home basketball games and select road contests that include games at: Hargrave Military Academy, Fork Union Military Academy, Surry Community College, and Rockingham Community College.
The deal will also include a weekly radio show with Patriot’s Head Coach Chuck Moore that will be apart of “Southside Connection” a local sports talk show that airs from 4-6 PM on ESPN Radio. Coverage of the Patriots will start on October 8, 2008 with coverage of the “Basketball Tip-Off” event at PHCC at 5 PM.
Game coverage will also be online at thesportsaddictnetwork.com/pages/Martinsville/ and will include a 15-minute pregame show and postgame wrap-up show that will include interviews with players, coaches, and updates from around Region X.
