The Front Nine Hosts: Aaron Marks
Aaron Marks is the host of The Front Nine and the guy that gets us from show to show. We’re not sure if we’d ever finish a show with out him! You don’t want to take to many golf tips from Aaron, but he’s got a great radio background and creates a smooth running show for us.
Aaron has been working in sports talk radio since 2003 when he first started working for ESPN 1430 in Blacksburg as an Account Executive and on air play by play broadcaster. Aaron now serves as Corporate General Manager for the VA Region of Positive Radio Group. This includes 9 stations across the state of VA, 4 of which are ESPN affiliates.
On the air Aaron has called play by play for H.S. and College Football, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball, Soccer, and Softball, plus he has filled in as host of The Afternoon Drive sports talk shows on ESPN Radio in Blacksburg and Charlottesville, VA.
Although he has gained extensive experience across the air waves, his biggest claim to fame is host of The Front Nine!
Aaron resides in Palmyra (just outside Charlottesville) with his wife and their dog Rascal, and he has a degree in communications from Virginia Tech. Go Hokies!
