Sale of UVa Single-Game Football Tickets Starts Monday
A Limited Number of Season Tickets and ACC Mini-Packages Remain on Sale

(Charlottesville, VA)- Single-game ticket sales for select non-conference
2008 Virginia home football games will begin at 9 a.m. Monday. Fans can
purchase tickets online, in-person or by telephone. Home game tickets are
available for the Sept. 6 "Retro Game" against Richmond ($16) and the Oct.
11 contest versus East Carolina ($35).

Virginia's season opener against Southern California on Aug. 30 is sold out.

After conducting the initial season ticket sale, the sale of mini-packages
and the advance single-game sale to donors and season ticket holders, fewer
than 500 season tickets remain. Season tickets cost $269 and include all
seven of UVa's 2008 home football games.

Still on sale is the ACC four-game mini-package ($168), which features the
Cavaliers' home dates with Maryland (Oct. 4), North Carolina (Oct. 18),
Miami (Nov. 1) and Clemson (Nov. 22). The four-game Kickoff Package that
included tickets to the USC, Richmond and East Carolina are sold out.

Single-game sales for UVa's four ACC home games begin Aug. 11. Tickets for
each of those games are $42.

Fans can purchase tickets online at http://www.VirginiaSports.com starting at 9 a.m. Monday.

In-person or telephone purchases will also begin at 9 a.m. Monday by calling
1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in-person at the
