Sale of UVa Single-Game ACC Football Tickets Starts Monday

(Charlottesville, VA) Single-game ticket sales for Virginia's four ACC home
football games go on sale today. Tickets for each of those games are $42.
The Cavaliers host conference rivals Maryland (Oct. 4), North Carolina (Oct.
18), Miami (Homecomings-Nov. 1) and Clemson (Nov. 22) during the 2008
season. Fans can purchase tickets online, in-person or by telephone.

In addition to the four ACC home contests, single-game tickets remain on
sale for UVa's Sept. 6 "Retro Game" against Richmond ($16) and the Oct. 11
contest versus East Carolina ($35).

Virginia's season opener against Southern California on Aug. 30 is sold out.

Fans also have the option to order the four ACC home games as a mini-package
($168). The three-game Kickoff Package that included tickets to the USC,
Richmond and East Carolina are sold out.

Fans can purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com. In-person or
telephone purchases are available by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or
locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or visiting the Virginia Athletics Ticket
Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
