Clinic to be taught by Thundering Herd coaches and swimmers.
The Marshall University swimming and diving program is slated to hold its
first ever Marshall Swim Clinic, Sept. 6 in the Frederick A. Fitch
Natatorium.
The clinic, which is open to athletes ages 5 to 18, will be taught by the
Marshall University Swimming and Diving coaching staff and the Marshall
University swimmers and divers. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. with
final award presentation and pick-up set for 3:30 p.m.
Swimmers will be divided into groups based on age and ability level.
Participants will rotate through the different stroke disciplines as well
as a start and turn station. Dry land activities will be taught to
athletes and lunch will be provided. The day will conclude with relay
races and sportsmanship awards.
The cost is $100 per child. Families sending 2 or more athletes may
receive a discounted rate of $80 per child. Registration will be open
until 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 6.
