Marshall won its Conference USA opener, 17-16 over Memphis, as Darius
Marshall ran for 140 yards. East Carolina is 3-0 for the first time since
1999 after the 14th-ranked Pirates rallied to win at Tulane on Saturday,
28-24. Houston's rally fell just short as it fell to Air Force, 31-28 in
Dallas.
