Time To Dance!! (The Sports Addict Network)

Well today is the official start of March Madness to me. The play in game is one of the more pointless things in college sports in my opinion. I figured I would give my Final Four picks to everyone just in case I end up being close to right. I like North Carolina, UCLA, Texas, and Kansas. I am not used to picking so many #1 seeds but I just have not been impressed by anyone this year. I have NC and UCLA meeting in the final game with the Tarheels winning it all.

I have heard a lot of people complain this week about the Hokies not being in the NCAA tournament and I understand why they feel that way, but Virginia Tech did not deserve to be in the tournament. The NCAA field is built on your resume throughout the year and the Hokies were not impressive at the beginning. They were missing a key win over a Top 25 team and that ultimately decided their fate. I think Virginia Tech is playing great basketball right now and they would definitely make some noise if they were in the tournament but that is just not the case. The NIT will be a great learning experience from this team and they should be ready to go when next season comes around.

Baseball season is only a week or so away and I can not wait for it to begin. I love baseball and it reminds you that summer is right around the corner. Since I am from Pennsylvania, I will be paying attention to the Philles and the NL East, but there are quite a few other teams that interest me as well. Baseball is perfect because the summer is here and it prepares you for football season that will be here before you know it.
